I’m a writer and editor from Southern California, now based in the Boston area. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with degrees in English Literature and Theatre, I worked in marketing and communications in New Zealand, Australia and NYC. In 2013, I received my Master’s degree from the University of Durham in England and a piece of advice from my early modern English professor: “If I had to do it all over again, I’d go into marketing.” I took her advice and have yet to regret abandoning my academic ambitions.
As a writer, I’ve been lucky to work with smart people—university deans and presidents, tech founders, marketers, small business owners and nonprofit professionals—who have trusted me with their voices, ideas, and visions. I enjoy working on projects that teach me something new, which is why I’ve written across topics in technology, international development, education, business, and more.
Outside of work, I try to keep up with my subscription to The New Yorker, endless podcasts, my tennis ball-obsessed dog, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
