Excella needed a white paper that could break down prevalent misconceptions and technical complexities, and could ultimately help prospects feel more confident about proceeding with modernization.

Taking a modern, design-forward approach, this asset breaks from dense, traditional white papers. Written for busy technical and non-technical professionals, this paper is a straight-to-the-point resource on the five main approaches to modernization. I gave each approach a brief overview—what, why, and conclusion, in addition to the overall levels of cost, risk and success.

This ebook, which I developed for technologists working in digital services who want to deepen their knowledge of Agile, Lean and DevOps practices, captured leads via Google and LinkedIn ads and was later used in several email marketing campaigns.

The content draws from Excella’s digital services thought leadership, in addition to the US Digital Services Playbook. Because this asset specifically targeted professionals in hands-on roles (UX designers, developers), an inclusive, direct voice (“we” is used throughout) allows users to feel they are engaging with someone who understands their challenges, while still providing them with the expertise and support they need.
